I want to truly represent my community so I will frequently consult with members of the community while I am councillor.

There are a few areas that I will make a priority during my term:

Addiction and Mental Health

My family has been deeply affected by addiction and I want to prevent others from suffering. I will work to obtain more funding for addiction and mental health programs..

Food security and sovereignty

It is difficult for our community to access a variety of fresh produce. I want to work to make T’it’q’et food self-sufficient.

Climate Change

We have all seen our local climate changing. Already we have seen fruit cooking on our trees. We need to prepare for the changes.

Land Rights

Our land was stolen and organizations like BC Hydro have dragged their feet for too long in giving it back. I will work to ensure it is returned and we are fairly compensated.
